Shuttle Bus Driver Convicted and Must Repay $15,750.53 in Restitution

On October 7th, 2020 the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations was notified that the Fresno County District Attorney’s office successfully secured a guilty plea in the case of People of California v. J. Sarcadi. In this case the claimant accepted a plea deal in which he would change his original “not guilty” plea to “guilty” of a lessor misdemeanor charge.

City Equipment Operator Charged with Felony Insurance Fraud

On July 24th, 2020, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was advised as to the felony insurance fraud charges filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office based upon a documented referral submitted. In this particular case, the claimant was employed as a city equipment operator who alleged to have suffered an upper extremity injury while working.

County Firefighter Charged with Felony Insurance Fraud

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc., has been notified regarding the filing of felony insurance fraud charges based upon a documented referral submitted. In this particular case, the claimant was employed as a firefighter with the County of Ventura, who is alleging to have sustained injuries as a result of a work-related accident occurring back on February 3rd, 2019. After five months of medical treatment, there was no noted improvement and the claimant informed his treating doctor that he was still “crippled by the pain.
