On July 14th, 2025, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Orange County District Attorney’s Office has filed felony insurance fraud charges based, in part, upon a documented referral submitted by RJN SIU to their office.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the U.S. Attorney’s Office regarding the successful prosecution on the case of Luis Perez, Owner of Baron HR, and several other staffing subsidiaries. During the investigation, it was established that rather than paying payroll taxes owed to the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Perez purchased luxury items to include a $340,000.00 Lamborghini, a $224,000.00 Rolls Royce, a private jet, a yacht and a 10,000 square foot home.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified of the successful prosecution of a claimant who was employed as a Hospital Employee in Sacramento, California. The claimant alleged to have sustained a slip and fall injury to the head, shoulder, upper and lower back.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc has been notified by the Orange County District Attorney’s office that a former Westminster Police Officer has been charged with 15 felonies based upon a formal fraud referral. In this case, the claimant alleged a date of injury going back to March 2022 for multiple injuries suffered as the result of an altercation while making an arrest.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified by the Riverside County District Attorney that their office filed criminal charges against a Fast-food Employee who alleged to have sustained injuries to her neck, low back, bilateral shoulders, bilateral elbows, and bilateral wrists.

In this particular case, the claimant was alleging, “that he pulled and lifted a heavy subject from the ground,” injuring his low back. At the time of the injury, the claimant was employed as a full-time police officer with the City of Indio. As the restrictions listed by the primary treating physician could not be accommodated by the assured, the claimant began to receive TTD benefits.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office that they filed four felony counts against the claimant. In this case, the claimant was employed as an assistant general manager, who was alleged to have suffered a work-related injury to his right ankle.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc., was recently notified by the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office regarding the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. B. Luna.

In this particular case, the claimant was employed as a full-time packer who alleged to have suffered a work-related injury at her work site.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified of the successful prosecution of a claimant who was employed as a County Employee in Riverside, CA. The claimant is alleged to have sustained continuous trauma injuries during the course of her employment.
