Orange County District Attorney’s Office Files Felony Charges Against Sheriff Special Officer

On July 25th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Orange County District Attorney’s Office had filed felony criminal charges on a Sheriff Special Officer Level II. In this particular case, the claimant filed a workers’ compensation claim and based upon the listed restrictions, the employer was unable to accommodate and as such, he began to receive temporary total disability payments.

Orange County District Attorney’s Office Secures Conviction on Multi-Million Dollar Fraud Scheme

On July 11th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified regarding the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. B. Groscost and F. Koltsov. According to the press release issued by the California Department of Insurance, “These co-conspirators allegedly ordered screening and prescriptions for injured workers in order to enrich themselves, not to protect their patients,” said Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara.

Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office Secures Conviction Based Strongly on Subrosa Video Evidence

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified by the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office regarding the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. M. Godinez. In this particular case, the claimant attended her QME appointment at which time she complained of pain and swelling in her left ankle, constant pain in both knees and constant pain to the left lower extremities.

Correctional Officer Pleads Guilty to Committing Insurance Fraud and Is Ordered to Pay Restitution in The Amount $41,893.49

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office regarding the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. G. Delgado. In this case, the claimant was employed as a Deputy Juvenile Correction Officer, who alleged that because of restraining a youth, he fell to the ground injuring both his right and left knee.

Surgeon Convicted of Federal Charges for Accepting Over $300,000 in Illicit Payments to Perform Spinal Surgeries at Corrupt Hospital

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc has been notified of the successful conviction by the U.S Attorney’s office . In their recent press release it stated :

“An orthopedic surgeon has been found guilty by a federal jury of accepting more than $315,000 in bribes and kickbacks for performing spinal surgeries at a now-defunct Long Beach hospital whose owner was imprisoned for committing a massive workers’ compensation insurance fraud, the Justice Department announced today.

Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Secures Conviction and Restitution in The Amount Of $16,730.00

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office regarding the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. H. Donavan.  In this case, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed felony insurance fraud charges against the claimant back in February 2019 upon receipt of a formal referral from the RJN SIU. The claimant was represented by the County’s Public Defender’s Office.

Sisters Accept Plea Deal Involving Insurance Fraud

On March 10th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified of the successful prosecution of two sisters in Sonoma County. In this case, the claimant alleges to have suffered a seizure and claimed it to be work related. As her medical condition deteriorated, her sister acted as a caregiver and would assist the claimant in her activities of daily living and for transportation.
