Retail Store Associate Charged with Felony Workers Compensation Fraud

On June 2nd, 2022, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed Felony Insurance Fraud Charges against a claimant based upon a documented referral submitted. In this case, the claimant worked as a Retail Store Associate for a non-profit organization and upon termination from the insured, threw himself to the ground alleging to have sustained injuries to his neck, right shoulder and right ankle.

Owner of Ryon College Convicted of Cashing Supplemental Job Placement Vouchers from Students Who Did Not Attend Any Classes

On May 9th, 2022, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Riverside County Superior Court was successful in the prosecution of People of California v. O. Forero, owner of Ryon College in Riverside, California.

In this particular case, Loma Linda Medical University received invoices from the suspect requesting payment for a Supplemental Job Displacement program.

San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office Issues Felony Arrest Warrant on Insurance Fraud Charges

On April 4th, 2022, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. learned that the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office had issued an arrest warrant and 2 felony charges have been filed against the claimant in this case. In this case, the claimant worked as a Housekeeper and alleged to have sustained injuries to her knee while working her normal customary duties.

Riverside County District Attorney’s Office Charge Teacher with Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fraud

In this particular case, the claimant was employed as Special Education Teacher who allegedly suffered an injury to her left thumb and left hand.

Ventura County District Attorney’s Office Charges Room Attendant with Felony Workers Compensation Fraud

On February 15th, 2022, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office has arrested and filed one felony charge based upon a documented referral submitted to their office. In this case, the claimant worked as a Room Attendant in Ventura County and alleged to have sustained injuries to her right arm and back while working her normal customary duties.

Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office Files Felony Insurance Fraud Charges

On December 13th, 2021, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc., learned that the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office had filed felony insurance charges based upon a documented referral submitted to their attention.  In this particular case, the claimant attended her QME appointment at which time she complained of pain and swelling in her left ankle, constant pain in both knees and constant pain to the left lower extremities.

On November 15th, 2021, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office had filed felony insurance charges based upon a documented referral submitted. In this particular case, the claimant alleged to have suffered a work-related injury to his right knee while conducting fire ground training.
