On October 6th, 2026, RJN Investigations, Inc.’s Special Investigative Unit was notified that the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office had successfully prosecuted the claimant for material misrepresentations made during her deposition. At the time of her deposition, the claimant testified that she always uses a walker, however, RJN Investigations’ surveillance footage showed her shopping on multiple days without a walker or cane while she remained on TTD status.

On September 1st, 2026, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office was successful in prosecuting the claimant who was found to be working at a construction site while also collecting Temporary Total Disability Payments from the insured.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in regard to the formal sentencing of a former County Sheriff Special Officer. In this particular case, the claimant filed a workers’ compensation claim and based upon listed restrictions, the employer was unable to accommodate.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified of the successful prosecution in the case of People of California vs. I. Rivera. In this particular case, the claimant was employed as a full-time Riverside County employee who filed a workers’ compensation claim for lower extremity injuries.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations Inc. was recently notified by the San Diego County District Attorney’s office as to the formal charges filed based upon the submission of a documented referral. In this particular case, the claimant was employed as a city firefighter.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office of their successful prosecution in the case of People of California v M. Lopez based upon a documented fraud referral.

The special investigative unit of RJN investigations, Inc.  was formally notified by the Ventura County District Attorney’s office as to formal criminal charges being filed based upon a documented SIU referral submitted. In this particular case, the claimant alleged to have suffered extensive injuries as a result of a “trip and fall” at work . She was placed on total temporary disability and alleged to have needed a walker to ambulate.
