The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Orange County District Attorney’s Office filed felony insurance fraud charges based upon a documented referral submitted. In this case, both husband and wife claimants worked as police officers for the City of Tustin.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office had filed 15 felony insurance fraud charges based upon a documented referral submitted. In this particular case, the claimant worked as a packer and alleged to have suffered a work-related injury to her wrists, hands, right shoulder and neck.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was recently notified by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office of the criminal filing based upon a documented referral submitted to their department. In this case, a correctional officer with the County alleged while working in the jail, that a co-worker intentionally reclined his chair while the claimant was walking by, causing her to hit the counter and suffer injuries to her right upper extremities.

RJN SIU was notified that the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office filed two felony counts against the claimant. In this case, the claimant was employed as a full-time County Maintenance Construction Worker. He alleged that while changing road signs, he tripped and landed on his right shoulder.

On November 28th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified of the successful prosecution of a claimant who was employed as a Janitor in Fresno County. In this case, the claimant alleges to have sustained injuries to his back and right shoulder while waxing floors.

On November 7th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was formally notified by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office of the recent outcome of a criminal hearing pertaining to restitution. This hearing was in reference to the case of People of California vs.

On October 23rd, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified of the successful prosecution of a claimant who was employed as a Field Worker in Kern County. In this case, the claimant alleges to have injured his right wrist/hand while trimming grape vines on a trellis.

The Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was formally notified of the sentencing of Dr. Wendall Street. In this case, the RJN SIU level investigation established evidence indicating that Dr. Street was illegally providing opiates to a school district employee who had filed a workers’ compensation claim.

On September 19th, 2023, the Special Investigative Unit of RJN Investigations, Inc. was notified that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has arrested and filed felony insurance fraud charges based upon a documented referral submitted by RJN SIU. In this case, the claimant made material misrepresentations to his treating doctors in contrast to what he was seen capable of doing at the time surveillance of the claimant was secured.
